The Front Hall
In the Shippen Manor, this is the very first room we toured.  This room was a remarkable first impression.  It was furnished with amazing antics, including two paintings (shown below), a fragile chair, an organ, and a sword on the fireplace mantle.  We were so impressed by this first room, we were anxious to continue our tour.  We were not disappointed, but I’m wandering off the subject.  I was very happy with doing this first room, but we continued our tour with eager anticipation.      Jeremy D.
