The Victorian Parlor (above) rests near the Greeting Room. The family Bible and photo album (right) are an important part of the family history. The china set (below, right) is probably from the set in the dining room. (See dining room).

The Victorian Parlor is a room full of historic things, such as the Bible & the photo album. The Victorian Parlor is what we, today, would call a living or family room.

It had soft, burgundy color walls, and a piano, which the family might have gathered around after dinner. It also had many seating arrangements, and photos of people from the family or close friends.

The thing that brings the whole room would be the beautiful china arrangement on the warm, stone hearth.

This chair is very interesting piece. It doesn’t match any of the other pieces in the room.
