Homework Requirements:

Reading- Please supervise your child as they read at least 15 minutes each night!  This is so important in developing reading fluency and comprehension!  Please also sign the Read At Home Log. This log will be due on the first of each month.

Math- Please support and interact with your child to make sure he or she completes and understands the Home Link for the night.  All home links are due the following day.  A note for parents is always located at the top of each home link.  This parent information should explain the math topic for the night in further detail. Math homework is given Monday through Thursday.

Spelling- Please study spelling words each night to prepare for the test at the end of each week!  Also, please supervise your child as he or she completes all necessary spelling homework for the week! Each week we will have 10 regular words and 1 bonus word.

Spelling Homework will be the same each week. The schedule will be as follows:

Monday- 3 times each

Tuesday- ABC Order

Wednesday- Phonics Reader

Thursday- Sentences and study for spelling test on Friday
