Classroom Behavior Rules and Consequences

Rules:

1. I will show respect for myself, my classmates, and my teachers.

2. I will not talk when someone else is talking. I will raise my hand and wait for permission to speak.

3. I will follow directions the first time they are given.

4. I will come to class prepared and ready to learn. I will put forth effort in all that I do.

5. I will keep my hands, feet, and other objects to myself.

Consequences:

The consequences for breaking the rules are as follows:

• 1^st Warning—Initials on board
• 2^nd Warning—Red dot on behavior chart
• 3^rd Warning—Phone call/letter home
• 4^th Warning—After-school detention
• 5^th Warning—Visit to the principal

Any names on the board will be erased at the end of class. Students will start with a clean slate each day.
