    Speech and Language Specialist

    DESCRIPTION

    Opening exists for a speech therapist at the elementary and middle school levels.  Responsibilities include providing speech therapy services for students with disabilities from a wide range of educational settings, including, but not limited to, self-contained classes and the district Preschool program. Responsibilities also include completing speech and language evaluations, case management, and participating in IEP meetings.  Position is full-time, 10-months, and tenure track; there are additional opportunities for summer work.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    New Jersey Speech Language Specialist Certification

    Speech therapists who need to complete the clinical fellowship year (CFY) can apply and will be considered.

Position: Maternity Leave for  Preschool Teacher

Duration: August 25, 2025- December 31, 2025

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maternity Leave Preschool Teacher to join our team from August-December 2025. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and the ability to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our preschool students.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities (w/ assistance from preschool team members)

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Monitor and assess student progress.

Communicate effectively with parents and staff.

Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.

Job Listing: Classroom AIde/Paraprofessional

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young children? Do you have experience working in a school setting and a caring, patient demeanor? If so, we invite you to join our dedicated team at Oxford Township School District as an Early Childhood Classroom Aide/Paraprofessional. We have one general classroom aide opening and one preschool aide opening. 

Position Overview:

As a Classroom aide/Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for our young students. This position primarily involves providing support and assistance to children, with a particular focus on those with special needs. Candidates who possess Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • School Experience: Candidates with prior experience working in a school setting will be favored.

  • ABA Experience: Prior experience with Applied Behavior Analysis techniques will be highly considered.

  • Diaper Changing: Candidates will be responsible for assisting students with diaper changing and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment (preschool aide only)

  • Supportive Role: Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans

  • Hours: The position operates during regular school hours from 8:10 AM to 2:55 PM, offering a predictable and consistent schedule.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

  • Prior experience working with children, especially in a school or childcare setting.

  • ABA experience or relevant training is a significant advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a caring demeanor.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
