The U.S. Flag Code, a federal law that advises how the U.S. flag should be displayed, even includes provision for the positioning of the American flag:
No other flag or pennant should be placed above or, if on the same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America...
Thanks OCS PTA and Ms. Gilberti for organizing our assembly today with Chris Poulos, world champion athlete and BMX rider. His positive messages and life story resonated with everyone. The students loved it, and being jumped over was a blast!

Our Kindergarten classes are organizing a Pajama Drive in partnership with Scholastic's Pajama Program. For each pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic will match it with a book for children in need.

Another great example of our “Now and Next” partners as our fifth graders teach our second grade about directional language and programming using Bee-Bots. Way to go Ms. Kimball and Ms. Havyar.
Our very own C.O.R.R.E.C.T. Crusaders made an appearance in Ms. Ruppel's 3rd grade class to help students write about everything they are thankful for.

Congratulations to our own Ms. Pensyl who used her preschool Jedi mind tricks to be the inaugural Thanksgiving rock paper scissor champion at Oxford Central School.
